I painted this a few months ago to practice some more with oils and colors. Still haven't totally nailed oils or colors-- I don't think I'll ever be done experimenting with both. I've been trying to be less realistic with my art and more illustrative, and I think this is a step towards breaking that "hyperrealism" bubble (harhar) I've been stuck in.
This was also entered in a contest affiliated with my high school and ended up winning a little somethin-somethin. I got first place, which I'm pretty excited about. :)
